How do I split an expense?
Add what was paid, who paid it, and who was there. Equal is the default. SplitPerk works out who owes whom.
When do I use a group instead of a friend?
A friend is for a one-off 1:1, like dinner or a cab. A group keeps a running tab for a trip or a flatshare.
How do we settle up?
Record a payment. The other person confirms it. That confirmation is what moves the balance and counts for SplitPoints.
How do SplitPoints and rewards work?
Points come from settling. You redeem a deal in the app, and the store verifies it before the points are spent.
What can I delete?
You can delete your account from the app. Deletion removes the email and username and rewrites the phone. The details are in the privacy policy.
Does SplitPerk pay for the Assistant?
No. The in-app Assistant and an external client both use a key you bring. SplitPerk does not pay the model bill. Connecting an external client uses https://splitperk.app/mcp. A mutation asks for confirmation. A deal fee still requires the store to scan or enter the code.
Where do I open SplitPerk?
Open the app in the browser. One button, no store required for the web app.
How to
Add a friend
Open Friends and add them by phone or username. They accept the request.
Create a group
Open Groups, name the trip or the flat, and invite people with the link.
Add an expense
Tap the plus button, enter who paid and who was there, and save the equal split.
Record a settlement
Open the balance, record the payment, and wait for the other person to confirm.
